Tony White (he/they), aka Fox Smoulder (b. 1992) is a lens based artist from New York City.

Tony's work experiments with digital art, analog film and stereographic imagery - employing lenticular print making, animated GIFs via social media and other digital presentation methods and juxtaposing such animated GIF images shot on 35mm film with conventional digital video - creating contrasting moments of apparent stillness and movement that distort and enhance time and subjective experience.

Their influences include animation, video games, science fiction and other 90's genre television, such as Star Trek, the X-files and Xena Warrior Princess.

Their surrealist narrative work draws from personal memoir and other critical narratives and observations.
